In Acts, 1:8, Jesus said, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” As a result, we support mission work at home, in the US and around the world. As a church, we support the Cooperative Program of the Southern Baptist Convention, which is a unified plan of giving through which churches give a percentage of their undesignated receipts in support of their respective state convention and the Southern Baptist Convention missions and ministries. However, we also support many missionaries and causes directly, both with our financial resources and with prayer support. Below are just a few.

Pastor Daniel – India

  • Sending teachers/missionaries to house churches in outlying areas
  • Encouraging and instructing local pastors
  • Caring for and nurturing orphans in local villages

Mark & Lisa Hauger – africa

The world is overflowing with children who have no families, no homes, no sustenance, no hope…At Among the Least we long to change that!  Our programs have helped families welcome home the children they’ve adopted, ministered to the needs of adoptive families, and assisted women in Kenya to start an orphan/widow resource center that is sustainable.  In Mark and Lisa’s blog you can find program updates, interesting articles, and information about adoption and orphans. We pray your heart is moved to be all God wants you to be for the fatherless.  Thanks for caring!
